Mushrooms and toadstools ว่าด้วยเรื่องเห็ด เห็ด
This time of the year is a good time for mushroom hunt. I have not much knowledge about mushrooms only that when I finished my university many, many years ago I was considering to do a business in mushroom farm. Well, I didn't. I LOVE the look of them as much as I like eating them (my mum used to cook a lovely dish of mushroom salad -- yum). when I was very little I used to have a lovely candle in a shape of a toadstool - red cap with some white spots on it. I kept it for ages and ages before it disappeared as things usually do with time.
There is something magical about mushrooms and toadstools, the way they appear through the dead, decay leaves, out of the wet ground in the morning. Some say the little folks use them for furniture -- tables, umbrellas etc. and on the moonlit night they dance around, leave the lovely fairy ring for us to see in the morning.
My husband is also fond mushrooms though not in a fancy way like I am. He went to mushroom classes and learnt how to identify edible mushrooms which is a very useful thing to know.
Let's have a look at some snapshots of those mushrooms and toadstools I saw this morning when I took Snoop for a walk.
ช่วงเวลานี้ของปีเป็นช่วงเหมาะสำหรับเก็บเห็ด ฉันไม่มีความรู้เรื่องเห็ดมากนักนอกเสียจากว่าตอนเรียนจบมหาวิทยาลัยใหม่ๆเมื่อหลายสิบปีก่อนเคยคิดอยากจะทำกิจการฟาร์มเห็ดแต่ก็ไม่ได้ทำ ฉันชอบรูปร่างหน้าตาของเห็ดพอๆกับที่ชอบกินเห็น (แม่เคยทำยำเห็ดอร้อย อร่อย) และตอนเป็นเด็กฉันเคยมีเทียนรูปเห็ดที่มีฝาสีแดงกับจุดสีขาว ฉันเก็บมันไว้ตั้งนานก่อนที่มันจะหายไปเหมือนอย่างที่ของหายไปตามกาลเวลา
การที่เห็ดโผล่ขึ้นมาจากใบไม้เน่าเปื่อยผุพังบนพื้นดินเปียกชื่นในเวลาเช้าตรู่นั้นเหมือนเป็นเวทมนต์ บ้างก็ว่าพวกเทวดานางฟ้าใช้มันเป็นเครื่องเรือนเช่นโต๊ะ ร่ม อะไรทำนองนั้น และในคืนแสงจันทร์ส่องสว่างก็ออกมาร่ายรำทิ้งไว้แต่วงเห็ดนางฟ้าให้เราเห็นในตอนเช้า
สามีของฉันก็เป็นคนที่ชอบเห็ดถึงแม้จะไม่ได้ชอบในแบบเพ้อฝันอย่างฉัน เขาไปเข้าคอร์สวิชาการเก็บเห็ดว่าเห็นชนิดไหนกินได้ชนิดไหนมีพิษซึ่งนับว่ามีประโยชน์จริงๆ
