Breakfast at Tiffany's ว่าด้วยภาพยนต์เรื่องเบรคฟาส์ตแอททิฟฟานี่

It is one of my favourite films. I re-watch it when I feel red. I also read the book but I much prefer the film as there is something so stylish about it -- something to do with Audrey Hepburn. Also, this film reminds me of my mum who is a big fan of Audrey.
Personally, I don't think I could be friend with Holly Golightly. She is shallow, mercenary, slobbish and illiterate yet she is interesting and stylish.

โดยส่วนตัวแล้ว ฉันไม่คิดว่าจะอยากเป็นเพื่อนกับฮอลลี่ โกไลท์ลีย์ เพราะว่าคุณเธอทั้งมีความคิดตื่นเขิน เห็นแก่ได้ ไม่มีระเบียบ และยังด้อยปัญญาอีกด้วย
แต่ถึงอย่างนั้นก็เป็นคนน่าสนใจและนำสมัย

She gives very little attention to her flat in N.Y. and it looks bare as if she'd just moved in. She says when she feels more secure she would buy some furniture and give her cat a name.

She is silly enough to think the book is for decoration (her shelf is practically empty) เธอคิดว่าหนังสือเป็นของตกแต่งบ้าน (ชั้นของเธอว่างเปล่า)

The way she gently rubs some banknotes on the table in a greedily way. เธอลูบคล่ำเงินบนโต๊ะอย่างเห็นแก่ได้

The way she picks up the letter by using the pointy end of the thing she is holding เธอใช้อะไรก็ไม่รู้ที่เธอถืออยู่จิ้มจดหมายขึ้นจากพื้น

She smokes a cigarette with a long extension. It looks cool though there is nothing cool about being a smoker (isn't it confusing) เธอสูบบุหรี่ที่มีก้านยาว ดูเท่ห์เสียไม่มีถึงแม้ว่าการสูบบุหรี่จะไม่เป็นความเท่ห์แต่อย่างใด (สับสนไหมล่ะ)

There are something funny and silly about the film such as แล้วก็ยังมีบางฉากที่ตลกและงี่เง่าเช่น

She looks stunningly beautiful even though she's just got up after a long night party.
เธอดูสวยอย่างน่าตื่นตะลึงทั้งๆที่เพิ่งตื่นนอนจากการออกเที่ยวหาเหยี่อทั้งคืน

The people who come to the party are so old! It is funny to see them making a fool of themselves.

Holly isn't  playing guitar so convincingly here. ฮอลลี่ไม่ได้ดูเหมือนเธอเล่นกีตาร์เป็น

If this is what a published author writes then I could easily be one. ถ้าหากนักเขียนอาชีพเขียนอะไรอย่างนี้ฉันก็คงเป็นนักเขียนอาชีพได้สบายๆ

Mr Yunioshi is my son's favourite character which plays by Mickey Rooney. It is absurd as we know well he wasn't Japanese and didn't look the least Japanese

And the writer Truman Capole objected to have Audrey Hepburn to play Holly Golightly. He preferred Marilyn Monroe but the director felt that Monroe would be too obvious that she was a hooker! I am glad that this role went to Audrey! She's forever my Holly Golightly.

Breakfast at Tiffany's is a romantic comedy of a New Yorker playgirl (prostitute) gold digger who's finally found her true love.
