Back to the garden again กลับเข้าสวนอีกครั้ง

In the blink of an eye, we are in late July! Needless to say, I have been so busy with training courses as a result, this blog has been standing still for over a month. Oh well, get to the point, the  weather hasn't improved much in the U.K. as we seem to have one nice day follow by another four days of bad weather and today, for example is cold and wet.
Nevermind, our garden loves rain. Let's have a look at the vegetable patch. This is our second crop now and the broad beans are going really well as you see in the pictures.

 

เพียงชั่วพริบตาเดียวก็ปาเข้าไปปลายเดือนกรกฏาคมแล้ว ต้องขอแก้ตัวว่ายุ่งจริงๆ เพราะต้องไปเข้าคอร์สเรื่องงานจนไม่มีเวลาอัพเดทบล๊อกเล็กๆกระจอกๆนี้เป็นเวลาร่วมเดือน เอาเถอะ มาเข้าเรื่องกันดีกว่า อากาศที่ประเทศอังกฤษไม่ได้กระเตื้องขึ้นเลย ดูเหมือนว่าจะมีวันที่อากาศดีวันหนึ่งตามด้วยวันอากาศแย่อีกสี่วัน ดูอย่างวันนี้เป็นตัวอย่างทั้งหนาวและฝนก็ตก ไม่เป็นไรเพราะต้นไม้ในสวนชอบน้ำฝน งั้นเรามาดูสวนครัวกันดีกว่า นี่เป็นผักสวนครัวรอบที่สองแล้ว ต้นถั่วดูงอกงามดีอย่างที่เห็นในรูปถ่าย

For me, ironing is a boring task that has to be done. เป็นยังไงมายังไงในรอบสิบปี

กลับไปดูเรื่องราวที่เขียนไว้ในบล๊อกต่างๆ เมื่อสิบกว่าปีที่แล้วก็ต้องมานั่งนึกทบทวนอยู่ครู่หนึ่ง เนื่องจากมันทำให้เราตระหนักว่าเราได้เดินทางมาไกลขนาดไหน และกลับกลายเป็นคนที่พอเพียงได้ขนาดไหน ตอนนี้สิ่งที่เหลืออยู่คือตัวเองกับสนู๊ปปี้ ก็จะบอกว่าอยู่เป็นโสดในประเทศอังกฤษมาได้เกือบจะสิบปี เท่าๆ กับเวลาที่ห่างหายจากด้านสว่างของดวงจันทร์นั่นแหละคะ แล้วจริงๆ ก็ไม่ได้ไปไหนไกลเลย ก็มีชีวิตอยู่แถวๆ นี้แหละ เพียงแต่ว่าได้ใช้เวลากับตัวเอง รู้จักตัวเอง และค้นพบตัวเองได้มากขึ้น เป็นการเดินทางที่ยาวนานแต่มีความสำคัญและคุ้มค่ากับหยาดเหงื่อแรงงานและคราบน้ำตา (ก็มีด้วยนะ) จริงๆ เพราะเหมือนเดินขี้นบันได แต่ละก้าวมันไม่ง่าย แต่เมื่อเราก้าวขึ้นแต่ละขั้น เราก็ได้เห็นอะไรสูงขึ้นไปเรื่อยๆ และเราก็ยังคงไปให้สูงขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ค้นพบตัวเราเอง ให้ความเคารพและเห็นในศักยภาพของเรามากขึ้นๆ จนถึงตอนนี้บอกได้เลยว่า พึงพอใจกับการพัฒนาของตัวเองมาก รักตัวเองได้อย่างไม่มีเงื่อนไข และมันก็ทำให้รักคนอื่นๆ ได้อย่างไม่มีเงื่อนไขได้เช่นเดียวกัน เอาเป็นว่าบล๊อกด้านสว่างของดวงจันทร์นี้จะอุทิศให้กับการเดินทางในการค้นพบแก่นแท้ของตัวเอง...

How are we getting on? เป็นยังไงมายังไงกันบ้าง

In these last few days, I seem to be doing nothing but cleaning dog's poo and dog's wee. Snoopy needs to be fed four times a day and once he eats or drinks he needs the toilet which he seems to think it's anywhere on the floor in the house. I have been running backwards and forwards between the house and the garden, trying to introduce him to somewhere he can relieve his pain. Yesterday was the worst, the weather here was so utterly horrible -- it was cold, windy and wet all day and he didn't like to go out on the wet lawn (neither did I) The sound of the falling rain scared him and so we had many accidents in the house. At ten o'clock last night I was still on my hands and knees cleaning the floor and his crate and of course himself as he had done the poop in his crate. I was so depressed I had to call my friend and asked for some consolation and advice which I've found very useful. Today was much better. I guess the weather wasn't so horrible though it wa...
