My little tins กล่องดีบุกเล็กๆของฉัน

I love tins! I used to collect them and had around 200 of them. I sadly got rid of almost all of them when I moved aboard a few years back. I can't find anything more useful than tins (storage wise). I use them to keep things.
ฉันชอบกล่องดีบุก เคยสะสมและมีตั้งสองร้อยกล่องโดยประมาณ ก่อนที่จะกำจัดทิ้งไปเกือบหมดตอนที่ย้ายประเทศ ไม่มีอะไรที่จะมีประโยชน์ในการเก็บสิ่งละอันพันละน้อยเท่ากล่องดีบุก
 These tins are very useful. They have plastic lids inside to keep things such as biscuits, nuts and cocoa powder etc. fresh. I bought them from a Japanese shop which always had nice things -- makes me feel jealous of the Japanese. กล่องดีบุกสี่อันนี้มีประโยชน์ตรงที่มันมีฝาพลาสติกอยู่ข้างในทำให้เก็บของกินเช่น ขนมปังกรอบ ถั่ว ผงโกโก้อะไรพวกนี้ได้นาน ฉันซื้อมันมาจากร้านขายของจากประเทศญี่ปุ่น เป็นร้านที่มีแต่ของดีๆ น่ารักๆ ทั้งนั้นเลย ทำให้รู้สึกอิจฉาคนญี่ปุ่นจริงๆ
These tins down below are very English. I got them from around there (in the UK) either from car-boot sale or charity shops. They are very colourful.
กล่องดีบุกที่เห็นข้างล่างเป็นอังกฤษจ้า ซื้อหามาได้จากแถวนี้นี้เอง (ในสหราชอาณาจักร) จากร้านขายของการกุศลและร้านขายของเปิดท้ายรถยนต์

For me, ironing is a boring task that has to be done. เป็นยังไงมายังไงในรอบสิบปี

กลับไปดูเรื่องราวที่เขียนไว้ในบล๊อกต่างๆ เมื่อสิบกว่าปีที่แล้วก็ต้องมานั่งนึกทบทวนอยู่ครู่หนึ่ง เนื่องจากมันทำให้เราตระหนักว่าเราได้เดินทางมาไกลขนาดไหน และกลับกลายเป็นคนที่พอเพียงได้ขนาดไหน ตอนนี้สิ่งที่เหลืออยู่คือตัวเองกับสนู๊ปปี้ ก็จะบอกว่าอยู่เป็นโสดในประเทศอังกฤษมาได้เกือบจะสิบปี เท่าๆ กับเวลาที่ห่างหายจากด้านสว่างของดวงจันทร์นั่นแหละคะ แล้วจริงๆ ก็ไม่ได้ไปไหนไกลเลย ก็มีชีวิตอยู่แถวๆ นี้แหละ เพียงแต่ว่าได้ใช้เวลากับตัวเอง รู้จักตัวเอง และค้นพบตัวเองได้มากขึ้น เป็นการเดินทางที่ยาวนานแต่มีความสำคัญและคุ้มค่ากับหยาดเหงื่อแรงงานและคราบน้ำตา (ก็มีด้วยนะ) จริงๆ เพราะเหมือนเดินขี้นบันได แต่ละก้าวมันไม่ง่าย แต่เมื่อเราก้าวขึ้นแต่ละขั้น เราก็ได้เห็นอะไรสูงขึ้นไปเรื่อยๆ และเราก็ยังคงไปให้สูงขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ค้นพบตัวเราเอง ให้ความเคารพและเห็นในศักยภาพของเรามากขึ้นๆ จนถึงตอนนี้บอกได้เลยว่า พึงพอใจกับการพัฒนาของตัวเองมาก รักตัวเองได้อย่างไม่มีเงื่อนไข และมันก็ทำให้รักคนอื่นๆ ได้อย่างไม่มีเงื่อนไขได้เช่นเดียวกัน เอาเป็นว่าบล๊อกด้านสว่างของดวงจันทร์นี้จะอุทิศให้กับการเดินทางในการค้นพบแก่นแท้ของตัวเอง...

How are we getting on? เป็นยังไงมายังไงกันบ้าง

In these last few days, I seem to be doing nothing but cleaning dog's poo and dog's wee. Snoopy needs to be fed four times a day and once he eats or drinks he needs the toilet which he seems to think it's anywhere on the floor in the house. I have been running backwards and forwards between the house and the garden, trying to introduce him to somewhere he can relieve his pain. Yesterday was the worst, the weather here was so utterly horrible -- it was cold, windy and wet all day and he didn't like to go out on the wet lawn (neither did I) The sound of the falling rain scared him and so we had many accidents in the house. At ten o'clock last night I was still on my hands and knees cleaning the floor and his crate and of course himself as he had done the poop in his crate. I was so depressed I had to call my friend and asked for some consolation and advice which I've found very useful. Today was much better. I guess the weather wasn't so horrible though it wa...
