Snoopy is a gundog therefore he likes to carry thing in his mouth. It is obvious that my photography skills are rubbish. But  I was adamant, I MUST capture my bright side of the moon as soon as  the chance came. Here are the evident. Autumn is a busy time - there are so many things to around the house. Making the fire daily is one them. Unfortunately, our wood-burner is out of action at the moment but it will soon be mended and in the being, we are surviving on the faithful open fire - it is the only heating source in the house. As the weather gets rougher, there a lot more cleaning to do, Snoopy brings in a lot of dirt on his muddy paws and I'd mopped the floor so many times a day, my mop has got broken! Oh dear, everything seems to have fallen apart. Don't we deserve this nice weather that we've had in this last few days considering what an awful summer we had?  I'm so overwhelmed by the generosity of the weather that I want to worship nature everyday. Of course, we do deserve a long patch of nice weather - it is to remind us now and again of how nice it is. This ladybird seems to enjoy soaking in the sun. Funny enough, I didn't see many of them during the summer when the weather should be hot enough to make the eggs hatched. These last few days, I have seen so many of them - great more number than what in the summer. Sad to think, this should be their last chance to enjoy life in the sun - before the winter sets in.

Autumn is the most romantic time of the year for me - it really is. I love the freshness about it and the soft sunlight that makes everything look golden. I happened to look out of the window and saw this poor pigeon put his wing up to shield the rain from his body (I can only guess that was his intention) as it rained so bitterly this morning. Glad to say, now the rain has stopped and the sun seems to pop in and out behind the cloud so we get on with the business again - both men and beast! บังเอิญว่าฉันมองออกไปนอกหน้าต่างและเห็นเจ้านกพิราบผู้น่าสงสารยืนกางปีกข้างเดียวเป็นเหมือนร่มบังฝนออกจากตัว (เดาเอานะ) เพราะว่าฝนตกอย่างไม่ลืมหูลืมตาเมื่อเช้านี้ ดีที่ว่าตอนนี้ฝนหยุดตกแล้วและดวงอาทิตย์ก็โผล่เข้าโผล่ออกจากก้อนเมฆ ทั้งคนและสัตว์ต่างก็พากันทำธุระปะทุรังกันได้อย่างเป็นปกติสุขอีกครั้ง

I was taking up my boy's school trousers to turn them to shorts when I noticed that these glass headed pins were so colourfully lovely. I captured these mini doughnuts before they went down our tummies.

David loves marrow and he has planted them in the garden. The first marrow was ready to be eaten yesterday and this is what we normally do with them - we make some marrow soup. I heard on the radio this morning that today is the first day of autumn. Having heard that made me feel a bit sad that summer is officially gone because I don't feel like I've done much this year and the weather has been absolutely diabolical. It rained all day yesterday it was so depressing.
